Hello Tuesday, I’m still feeling the weekend, I hope you are all doing better! Last night I was pleased to be part of a very boisterous meeting about Sneinton Market , great to see so many people fired up and wanting to get stuck in. Keep your eyes peeled for announcements coming soon, there are exciting times ahead! We are based on the 2nd floor of AEDA Arts Academy at the bottom of Hockley. Come and say hi! We are packing free WIFI and I keep forgetting to mention that the lift is working, for those who find the stairs a challenge you can be transported straight into my café.
Virgin Mary Soup and Bread (Vegan, spicy healthy warming tastiness) £3
Cauliflower and Lentil Curry (Vegan curry loveliness) £4.50
Cardomon Victoria Sponge with Rose Cream (sinfully delicious) £2.50
After you ave satisfied your hunger with something goooood, check out the photography exhibition curated by The City Gallery work by local artists Alex Kocan and Mervyn Mitchell.
Before I close the cafe for the primary gifting period I want to throw a party and have some dancing funtimes with all you lovely people. It’s £5 a ticket (please book in advance and pay on the night) which includes mulled wine and tasty treats. Feel free to BYO and lets have a fabulous time. I am hoping to get some of the Lindy Hop crowd down and get everyone doing The Shim Sham (get practising http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjfM4Wrj9UI) There will be awesome choons, dancing and happy times abound. See you there!
