I don’t know about you but I am already suffering from festive fatigue and had to bomb out of two of the six parties I was to attend over the weekend! I may not partake in the rampant commercialism and ego driven martyrdom over the festive feast but I do like a good time! More parties to come over the next few days, I really like that about this time of year, mulled wine and lovely friends oh and cheeeeeeeeeese.
I am closing up the café for Christmas as I am moving into a new flat, I am really excited to have my own little place again. Of course a house warming party must be had too, I think waiting until after the carnage of New Year would be prudent. Something to look forward to when the lights have been switched off and the tinsel taken down!
The café will open up again on the 27th and I will be cooking something nourishing spicy and warming, to give those groaning waistlines a break.
However you are spending this time, enjoy yourself and the people you love. Please don’t get caught up in the craziness of it all. It is only a couple of days and the shops DO open on boxing day.
Take care, much love x
