Bulwell Forest Garden Lunch Club Today 11.00-13.00 FREE!
Borlotti beans are our nutritional weapon of choice this week and for those of you enjoy facts – the cranberry bean, also known as the borlotti bean, Roman bean or romano bean, saluggia bean, or rosecoco bean, is a variety of common bean first bred in Colombia as the cargamanto!
Lets connect with our inner cowboy and enjoy sausages with smoky beans. We are being spoiled this week as guest dessert queen Claire will be making chocolate and courgette muffins. Tell everyone it’s vegan too! Lets not be shy about good food 🙂
Lunch is served from 12.30, you are welcome to come and get stuck in earlier if you are feeling energetic today, we always welcome your help with harvesting, chopping and gardening!
You can find Bulwell Forest Garden’s entrance next to 113 Austin Street.
(If you’re popping down please also be mindful of our lovely neighbours, If you can walk, skate or run down (build up an appetite). If you do need to bring the car, please try not to park across the driveways of the houses close to the garden. Thank you lovely ones)!
